Segundo divulgado no balanço final da Operação Corpus Christi 2015 da PRF/SC (Polícia Rodoviária Federal de Santa Catarina), às 24h00min desse domingo, dia 07 de junho, teve fim a citada operação, que começou na quarta-feira, dia 03 de junho. Nesse período, as rodovias federais catarinenses registraram 235 acidentes que resultaram em 146 feridos e 08 óbitos. “A PRF/SC trabalhou diuturnamente e registrou 20.983 imagens de veículos em excesso de velocidade, flagrou 141 motoristas dirigindo sob efeito de álcool e lavrou outros 3.107 autos de infração”, explica o balanço final.

Entre as situações de destaque, chamaram a atenção o excesso de velocidade de uma motocicleta em Araranguá, na rodovia BR-101, que estava a 218 km/h no momento do flagra. Ao alto número de veículos flagrados em excesso de velocidade no domingo (9.497) também surpreendeu.

Somente as rodovias federais de pista simples registraram acidentes fatais. Ou seja, não houve óbito na BR-101. Quatro das oito mortes ocorreram na BR-470. Outra constatação é que três delas foram de motociclistas e dois de pedestres.

– 07h40min – BR-282 – São Miguel do Oeste – uma mulher de 50 anos morreu atropelada por um caminhão;
– 08h40min – BR-470 – Gaspar – a condutora de um automóvel morreu após colidir com um caminhão. Há suspeitas de tenha sido suicídio;
– 16h45min – BR-280 – Porto União – uma jovem de 15 anos morreu atropelada por um automóvel;
– 21h30min – BR-282 – Alfredo Wagner – um homem de 30 anos, condutor de uma moto, morreu após colisão frontal com um automóvel;
– 23h10min – BR-470 – Indaial – um homem de 23 anos, condutor de uma moto, morreu após colisão lateral com um caminhão;
– 23h20min – BR-470 – Município não informado pela PRF – um homem de 34 anos, condutor de um caminhão, morreu após sair da pista.

Sexta-feira – 05 de junho de 2015
18h30min – BR-116 – Correia Pinto – um homem de 26 anos, condutor de uma moto, morreu após colisão frontal com um automóvel.

Sábado – 06 de junho de 2015
– 08h05min – BR-470 – Trombudo Central – o condutor de um automóvel morreu após capotamento.

De acordo com a PRF/SC, o número de feridos e mortos nas rodovias federais que cortam o estado catarinense foi menor do que no ano passado (2014). O número de óbitos diminuiu de 10 para 08, o que é considerada uma “grande vitória” para a Polícia Rodoviária Federal. “O feriadão começou muito violento, com 6 mortes no primeiro dia de operação, mas a PRF/SC conseguiu conter a violência”, explica a nota emitida pelo órgão.
