No último dia 24 de junho, a Casa da Cultura foi sede da 7ª Conferência Municipal da Assistência Social de Itapoá. O evento teve caráter deliberativo e nele foi debatida e avaliada a política de Assistência Social do Município. Além disso, novas diretrizes foram propostas, visando consolidar e ampliar os direitos socioassistenciais de seus usuários. O espaço contou com debates coletivos e houve participação social representativa, assegurando momentos para discussão e avaliação das ações governamentais. Além disso, foram eleitas as prioridades políticas que representam os usuários, os trabalhadores e as entidades de assistência social.

“Nas conferências estaduais, participam os delegados, eleitos nas conferências municipais, observadores e convidados credenciados. Já na etapa municipal, podem participar todos os sujeitos envolvidos na Assistência Social e pessoas interessadas nas questões relativas a essa Política”, explica a Secretaria Municipal de Assistência Social em nota de imprensa enviada pela PMI (Prefeitura Municipal de Itapoá).

Sérgio Ferreira de Aguiar (PMDB), prefeito municipal; Alessandra Silveira Oliveira, secretária municipal de Assistência Social; Jeferson Rubens Garcia, secretário municipal de Obras e Serviços Públicos; Cristian Ângelo Grassi, secretário municipal de Saúde; Elaine Alves, presidente do CMAS (Conselho Municipal de Assistência Social); membros dos conselhos municipais de Saúde; do Idoso; da Criança e do Adolescente; além de representantes de entidades e organizações civis do Município estiveram presentes.

“A Secretaria de Assistência Social agradece a Secretaria Municipal de Turismo, Meio Ambiente e Cultura pelo espaço cedido para a realização do evento e a Secretaria de Educação, que através do Projeto Ampliação da Jornada Escolar, abriu o dia de trabalho da 7ª Conferência Municipal da Assistência Social com uma bela apresentação dos alunos de dança”, conclui a Secretaria Municipal da Assistência Social de Itapoá, na nota divulgada pela Assessoria de Imprensa da Prefeitura sobre o evento.
