A Receita Federal realizou na tarde desta terça-feira, dia 24 de agosto, a apreensão de 350,5 kg de cocaína no porto de Itapoá. A droga foi localizada em um contêiner que transportava uma carga de cerâmica e que tinha como destino o porto de Valência, na Espanha. O método utilizado pelos traficantes foi o “rip on / rip off”, quando a droga é inserida no contêiner sem o conhecimento do exportador, que não tem envolvimento com o crime.

Com o cruzamento de dados e informações de inteligência, a Receita Federal realizou operação de repressão e selecionou alguns contêineres para fiscalização. O cão de faro Enzo, utilizado durante a operação, acusou a presença da cocaína em um dos contêineres.

Essa é a terceira apreensão realizada pela Receita Federal no porto de Itapoá em 2021, totalizando 839 kg de cocaína. Somados aos 1.080 kg já apreendidos anteriormente em operações do órgão no Porto de Itajaí, já foram apreendidas 1,92 toneladas da droga no Estado este ano.
