Por volta das 03h00min desta segunda-feira, dia 27 de abril, o CBM (Corpo de Bombeiros Militar) de Itapoá foi acionado para atender a uma ocorrência de afogamento no bairro Pontal, próximo ao Porto Itapoá.

No local, a guarnição foi informada, pelos familiares da vítima, de que por volta das 00h40min, um homem de 61 anos, residente de Joinville, notou que havia perdido uma boia que estava utilizando para pescar naquele local. Por esse motivo, ele teria resolvido entrar no mar a fim de tentar recuperar o objeto. Depois disso, ele não retornou mais à margem.

Devido as condições do mar naquele momento e a falta de iluminação, os bombeiros constataram a impossibilidade d qualquer tipo de busca naquele horário. Então, colheram todas as informações necessárias e certificaram os familiares de que a busca reiniciaria ao amanhecer.

Durante o amanhecer, um bombeiro militar com o auxílio de uma motonáutica (jet-ski) iniciou as buscas. A equipe de mergulho do batalhão também foi acionada, para as buscas subaquáticas.

Até o fechamento desta matéria, por volta das 16h40min desta segunda-feira, 27 de abril, os bombeiros seguiam com as buscas. Dois mergulhadores e um condutor de veículo automotor, equipados com uma motonáutica e um barco permaneciam no mar.

Segundo o Corpo de Bombeiros de Itapoá, novas informações deverão ser divulgadas conforme o andamento da operação.
