Na edição de setembro/2017 (nº 125) do jornal impresso Itapoá Notícias, foi publicado sobre a história de um grande caranguejo de concreto produzido por um potiguar chamado Índio Artesão, na Barra do Saí, em Itapoá. Muitas pessoas divulgaram fotos do local, que já se tornou um atrativo turístico em Itapoá.

De setembro para cá, a obra seguiu recebendo muitas visitas e passou a dividir as atenções com outras produções do mesmo artista, que adotou Itapoá e, pela demanda de trabalhos que obteve por aqui, não deve ir embora tão cedo. Um grande siri e uma tartaruga gigante, ambas na Avenida Dom Henrique II, também fazem parte das obras dele na Barra do Saí, e tem ainda uma sereia construída em Itapema do Norte (na avenida André Rodrigues de Freitas). Outros trabalhos do artista já estão contratadas e devem ser erguidos em breve.
